General John C. Pemberton Camp #1354 is the oldest chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Our camp commemorates Lt. General John Clifford Pemberton (1814-1881), Commander of the Department of Mississippi and Eastern Louisiana and the Fortress of Vicksburg from October 1862 until the surrender on July 4, 1863. |
