Our camp has been privileged to honor 77 Confederate troops, buried here in Vicksburg, Mississippi. On July 10-11, 1998, Confederate markers were placed for these soldiers, identifying each by name, rank, unit, and date of death. All of the markers were placed in the Soldier's Rest Cemetery at Cedar Hill (Vicksburg City Cemetery). These men served in Tennessee, Alabama, and Arkansas units.
